Fiestas in Mexico

6 Feast of the Epiphany (Three Kings Day)
January 6th.

Part of the two week Christmas celebration, Three King¬ís Day, a traditional Cathloic holiday,  honors the three wise men, Baltazar, Melchoir, and Gaspar, who followed the star to Bethlehem and bestowed on the Christ Child gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. On this day children receive gifts and sweets. A special cake, Rocas de Reyes, with a small doll representing the Christ Child is shared. Whoever finds the doll must host a party on Candlemas Day, February 2nd.
