This tour will take you from the archaeological ruins of Pre-Columbian Mexico to the legacy of the Colonial era. It will expose you to the soul and heart of the central part of Mexico and the mysticism of ancestros that still prevails in small towns and native communities of today’s life.

Depart to Mexico City, transfer to Soltepec for seven nights accommodation at La Escondida Hacienda (***). Located a couple of hours from Mexico City, this Colonial Hacienda built in 1712 and converted into a hotel, offers all the modern amenities with old world charm and grace. Being your tour base, you can look forward to returning each evening after spending the day exploring and getting an insight into "real Mexico".

Tour Huamantla and admire some of the most sacred of churches and convents built in the XVI century. Here there is also the National Museum of Marionettes, as well as a Bullfighting Museum. Tour Tlaxcala, the capital of this state, named after itself. Showing it’s colonial influence, you will visit the Main Plaza, the Government Palace with its renowned murals, the Open Chapel, Shrine of Ocotlan, and a bullfight ring. Tour to the archeology zone of Cacaxtla and Xochihtecatl. Tour the town of Cholula, and visit the Pyramids and its historical sites. A blend of archaeological, colonial, mysticism and religion, this town features a different church for every day of the calendar. Tour Puebla and the Malinche Volcano and the interesting sites of the state Capital, which is considered one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico.

Depart to Mexico City, transfer to the Aeropuerto Plaza Hotel (***). The following day, transfer to the airport for return flight home.
