General:
The purchase of these holidays involves a contract
between the purchaser, the traveler and Mexico Travel Link Ltd., hereafter referred to as
MTL. It is the final responsibility of the purchaser to fully read and fully understand
these terms and conditions of sale as they apply. Terms and conditions of sale are in
effect when MTL. receives any payment from the travel agent or purchaser.
The travel services arranged for you are subject to the quality of performance by our
suppliers and we cannot be held responsible and/or liable for any acts of omission or
negligence beyond our control.
Responsibility:
We shall not be liable for any claims, losses,
damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever,
to you or your travelling companions or group members resulting from events beyond our or
a suppliers reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of God, strikes,
lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots,
weather conditions, earthquakes, floods or acts or restrains imposed by government
authorities or any omission or negligence of anyone other than us or our employees acting
improperly on our behalf.
Arrival & Departure Taxes:
Prices quoted in our programs do not include
airport or government arrival or departure taxes. Taxes may vary from country to country
and are payable by the passenger at time of final payment unless otherwise stated.
Pricing:
All tour prices are quoted in US
Dollars unless otherwise stated. These prices are in effect at the time of publication
and are subject to change without notice. MTL. guarantees however, that once your
full payment has been received, you are guaranteed against future price increases provided
there are no changes to your original reservation.
Credit card reservations:
Your authorization of the use of your credit card
to make reservations with MTL binds you to our booking terms and conditions even without
you signature on the applicable credit card draft. Charges will be made immediately
against your credit card account with your verbal authorization.
Deposit and payment:
A non refundable deposit of $250.00
per passenger is required at the time of booking as well payment for cancellation
insurance premium. Full payment is due at least 45 days prior to departure, or immediately
if reserving within 45 days. In the event that any payment becomes overdue MTL reserves
the right to cancel any space reserved without notice. All N.S.F. cheques will be subject
to a $ 30.00 charge.
Cancellations:
MTL require written notification of
cancellation. In such event, the following penalties will apply:
Up to 45 days of departure $ 250.00
44 to 22 days prior to departure 50% of price
Within 21 days prior to departure 100% of price.
Changes:
All changes and theirs charges are at
the discretion of MTL. If you wish to make a change to your reservation, we will do our
best to satisfy your requirements subject to the conditions of our suppliers.
Travel tickets and vouchers:
Tickets, vouchers, itinerary and
other documents will be forwarded to the travel agency or purchaser upon receipt of full
payment. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to carefully review all information and
ensure documents are correct upon receipt.
Refunds and unused services:
Once a tour has begun, there will be
no refunds made for any unused tour portions or unused travel services to be exchanges for
alternate arrangements. Tickets are non transferable and valid only for the flights,
services and dates shown. In all cases, cancellation charges will apply and are non
refundable for any reason including sickness or other emergencies. MTL reserves the right
to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason. Should this happen, refunds will be
made without obligation. MTL cannot assume responsibility for passengers missing
connections that have been independently arranged. No refunds will be made to passengers
denied entry into a foreign country, or denied boarding of any air craft, or entry a hotel
as a result of inebriation or abusive behavior. We reserve the right, upon
reasonable grounds, to refuse any passenger any part of travel services.
Flight times & schedules:
It is responsibility of passengers to
confirm their flight at least 24 hours prior to departure to their destination. MTL is not
the transportation supplier and cannot be held responsible for any transportation schedule
changes. Passengers must check in at least 90 minutes prior to departure.
Accommodations:
All our accommodations are intended
to be at the hotels mentioned in each program, however MTL reserves the right to change
them at its sole discretion for any others of similar or greater value. Prices are based
on double occupancy.
Baggage:
It is the passengers
responsibility to insure that baggage size and weight fall within the terms of the
airline. Carriage of items such as bicycles, golf clubs, diving/windsurfing equipment and
the like is subject to the terms, conditions, and tariffs of the airline. MTL will not
accept liability for lost, damaged, or mishandled baggage.
Standards and expectations:
All passengers should be aware that
different standards than accustomed to in Canada may be encountered in other countries
visited and cannot hold MTL responsible for expectation disappointment.
Documentation:
It is the final responsibility of MTL
passengers to have all documentation required for travel. Proof of Citizenship is
necessary for everyone departing from or entering into Canada. A valid passport is
required for all destinations outside Canada although a birth certificate may be
substituted by Canadians or Americans entering Mexico. |
